Mice again

The second caged mouse has escaped, I think.  Sucky mouse cage.  *sigh*

ETA: I was incorrect. Mouse containment is still successful. Mouse just decided to completely submerge itself in the fluffy bedding for hours.

They're cute! And they're SOOOO much more scared of us than we are of them.

Oh good! I'm glad the cage worked. I can't wait to see them. :)

It's spending a lot of time hiding under the bedding. I see evidence it's active at night (I think it's using the wheel a little bit), and if I'm quiet before turning the lights on, I can hear it. But it hides when it knows we're around.
