Being a vegan is tough work.
I know someone who is.
She has to check just about everything to make sure there are no products that come from animals.
That means no dairy, no certain acids. She couldn't eat jello.
Good luck.
(Haha, that was anything but encouraging, sorry...)

Yeah, I just realized that.

Okay, not a vegan. Just a vegeterian. =)

i attempted to become a vegetarian 2 summers ago (summer of 2001). i hate how they treated the animals, it's so incredibly unfair and cruel. but i couldn't go it, not fully anyway. i bought the boca stuff and the imatative meats and everything. i never wanted to go vegan, just vegetarian. well i did it for about a month. the imatative meat & foods are just too incredibly gross. so now i eat chicken, seafood, and sausages. i abstain from beef and lamb and pork (except sausages..) so at least i hope from that i can make some sort of difference. anyway, good luck, you'll need it ;x

=D Thanks, Helen!

Yeah, I don't like seafood so that's not a big deal. Chicken's gonna be sooo hard to do because I'm emotionally attached to Chick-Fil-A.

I love bacon too but not so much on sausage. Hot dogs are okay but I <3 hamburgers.

*sigh*

I'm really gonna have to start slow on this madness. Thanks for the good luck wishes!

Hey!
Congrats!
I used to be a full on meat-eater, but last week I decided to become vegan. If you stay dedicated, it's not all that hard! :D

I'm in veganism, isitveg,vegan_people, vegrecipes..

They'll help you out, no matter if you're vegan or vegetarian :D

Hey! I was a vegetarian for 2 years. At first I didn't eat anything..but chicken (bc its poultry and good for the protein) but now occasionally I eat McDonald's hamburgers because it's not real meat. It's fake ground up..produced stuff. I've been doing good just sticking to chicken. I do not eat pork or any other beef. I detest to it.

I hope you keep it up and I am here for support and words of encouragement. It is a difficult process. But if you stick to it than you can do it! <3
