PARSONS

PT. 2

Awarded the Dean's Scholarship ($8,000/$2,000 a year).

Offered Federal Unsubsidized Stafford Loan ($3,500).

Total package: $5,500.

Gee, thanks.
I'd be more excited if I hadn't jumped the gun and ACTUALLY READ what it said instead of thinking the $3,500 was free money.

If if makes you feel any better, Pratt only offered me $6,000 in scholarship...and that would have been another $35,000 for me to cough up each year.

I still hope you can go to Parsons though. I know it means a whole lot to you.

I stumbled upon a link to a Parsons brochure from 2004-2005 and the tuition read something like $26k. It's currently $33k. How depressing! College costs are insane as the years pass. How do they expect me to live?

So what's the deal with Pratt? Staying at Converse or making the move?

Well, I mailed off my transfer application and I find out if I get in April 1st. We've already filed a FAFSA so I'm sure I'll find out how much financial aid I'll get.

In other words, I still don't know what I'm going to do, but I'll find out soon enough.

Oh god, like the entirety of the tuition. $2,000 a year is almost nothing in the long run. I'm discussing student loans currently with a company. Bring on the debt!
