Hello, darlings. I've fallen off the face of LiveJournal for the past three weeks or so. Work's been very busy and I just don't feel like it when I'm at home so I really haven't been keeping up on your lives lately. I hope everyone is doing well. Please update me if you like. Hmm. It's sunny here ("excessive heat warning," actually, because it'll be 90 degrees). That's exciting, right? Congrats on quitting.

Haha, yeah, that wouldn't be much out of the ordinary in California - especially if it was Paso.

Yep, I've been here for about a year but I suck at posting lately.

Actually, since you seem to be doing well and haven't been posting - do you find that you post less when you're content with your life? I think that's what's happened to me.

Yes, that's true to some degree. It's also heavily dependent on my work schedule. Over the years I've formed a sort of habit of only really doing LJ stuff from work. I'm just not in the right mind space or I don't feel the motivation when I'm home. So, when work gets busy I completely disappear from the net. Even email and MySpace correspondence falls a bit by the wayside.
Also, I've been on LJ for over five years now. I think maybe I'm just not as enthusiastic about my blogging as I once was. It ebbs and flows...

Awwww I'm afraid not, but thanks for offering. I'll be riding with my two companions and we'll be in a hurry to check in to our hotel and get settled before the party that day. Maybe next trip, if I'm by myself... :)

Really, it will be better this year!! I promise. :) Even if the bar area is still to loud - there will be the barn area which won't have music (there will be some bleed through from the main area, but the back of the barn should be ok). There will be some comfy seating up there too.

Congrats on the cohabitation thing. I know that's probably a big step for you. (Hell, it should be a big step for anyone) Anyway, I take it to mean that you and Dave are thriving and that does my heart good. :)
I'm just sorry I won't be seeing you at the party this weekend. Enjoy your quiet night in. I definitely understand that desire too.

Cheers! Yeah, I just realized I've hardly been on LJ since I left for Vegas at the beginning of June. It's been one project after another here at work lately.
Yes, I'll see you at McCarthy's tonight after farmers for sure. Good on ya, mate! :)
