the first step is admitting you have a problem.

are there support groups for people addicted to ebay? i'm starting to think i have a problem. last year, it started because i found great vintage pirate and slouch boots that were impossible to find in any thrift/vintage store here. i ended up with like four of five pairs, plus two pairs of cowboys boots (before jessica and britney started wearing them. they ruin everything.) and a vintage disco-y batwing dress. this year, it started out in the same manner (i wanted a pair of high heeled 80s boots) and, although i've been better this year (and have padded the costs by selling a bunch of my stuff), it's still a little out of control.

anyway. this is probably my favorite ebay find so far (the silver sequin batwing 80s shirt is a close second, but i dunno where it is right now, so no pics.) also, i'm sick and haven't washed my face since last night (definitely a secret to clear skin), so just pretend you can't see any bags under my eyes and that i don't look stoned.

nin last night was great. rob got us floor tickets and vip passes for the greenroom, which, surprisingly enough, was actually pretty swank. i hate to say it, but i kinda like madison square garden. i mean, it wasn't nearly as bad as i thought it would be. although, i definitely liked nin better last time around when they played smaller venues, and dfa1979 totally doesn't fit in there at all. i'd like to see dfa 1979 again in a smaller club with 'dirtier' sound. anyway. i was feeling really shitty and almost passed out, so i sat in the greenroom for the last half of nin's set and left kinda early after hanging out with everyone after the show.

i'm not ready for canada tomorrow.
