fashion week was much more enjoyable this time around. don't get me wrong, i had an amazing time last season, it's just easier to take everything in when you're not being trampled to death by 2309480948098 other women in high heels. i wasn't required to go to any shows for work this time around, but i had volunteered to help my boss out at the kati stern for venexiana show. i went to nanette lepore later during the week which was awesome... i'm so glad she's moved on to a more allison-friendly color palette, because her designs are really amazing.

once the show started, everyone started going crazy. 53 looks in about 20 minutes, using about 25 girls = something just short of a madhouse. i happened to be right next to the jewelry table, so i caught a lot of the girls doing a last check in the mirror there. how fucking cool are these armwarmers? i want a pair!
