it's 1:30pm in dublin. since the local time in new york is 8:30am and everyone is still sleeping, i'm bored out of my mind.

therefore, photos round one are herethese are the digitals, since there were only about 50 of them to sort through. the 35mms will come shortly after i sort through all 200 of them, scan them, post, etc ( Read more... )

Wow! I'm glad to hear you're having a great time! Belfast was my favorite city by far! Those murals are pretty insane though and pretty frightening! I was so amazed and I couldn't get enough photos!
If you get a chance go to Dingle Ireland and rent a bike! It's absolutely amazing!

we got stuck in belfast on the way back from giant's causeway (we missed the last train and bus back to dublin) so we walked around for a bit and it was pretty cool until 1am rolled around and there was NO ONE around, even on great victoria street. the next bus left at 6am, so we were trying to find an all-night diner or something, but no luck. we ended up sleeping in some guy's doorway! hahah.
i really wanted to go to dingle - galway and mayo sounded amazing, but i was running out of money and i knew london was going to be expensive, so we went up north instead, since they have cliffs AND that amazing basalt formation (and we were able to see all these cute little towns in northern ireland)... i met a lot of people though, so hopefully i'll be bale to go back for a bit over the summer... we'll see!

eh, it's sort of real... it was really pretty in real life, but in the photo the color got washed out for some reason (i think the setting was wrong for a few photos)... so i just adjusted the contrast levels (just for the sky, not for the rocks)... it didn't look quite like that, but i thought the photo looked really cool, so i left it
