More photography has been created for gallery walls in the last decade than in any other period in the medium’s history. And the most prominent, and probably most frequently used, style has been that of the deadpan aesthetic: a cool, detached and keenly sharp type of photography.

já existe há demasiado tempo para desaparecer assim (desde os anos 70 que o deadpan é bastante comum, afinal)
agora concordo que eventualmente vai desaparecer das paredes de museus e galerias

I do this kind of stuff in my sleep. There is great work out there that is based on this but it seems that the sublime has been forgotten.
