yesterday i had my first day at the marine mammal care center where i'm 'interning'...i put it in quotes because they haven't processed my papers yet and have instead told me to volunteer until they can sort it out. oh well, eventually they'll get it together. it was quite a day though. i had to get up at 5:15 to get there by 6:45 and it's in san ( Read more... )

that's so exciting lizard! but you do have to get over the fish thing. the lovable seals have to eat the fish, so you have to get used to it. it's the chain of life, man. food chain. whatever. i am in a weird state today. yeah.

but they were all...so dead! and i smelled like fishies...i don't mind so much the feeding them, it's the preparation. maybe i'll put skittles or m&m's in their food instead of vitamins. i like skittles better. it's been an odd sort of day for me also as you can see.
