i'm officially not writing in this lj anymore until i have something positive to say. just thougt i'd let you know. i think it'll be soon but i feel uninspired and after re-reading my last entries i wish i hadn't written them..but i can't erase them(or rather, i won't)so i will just sit tight until i have a good story for you all.

i took my chem test today which went really well i think and it made me happy 'cause i'm not good at chemistry at all. i called my dad afterwards, i always call him after a science test or after my labs. it's my way of making a connection i guess. afterwards i pretty much went back to bed and haven't really gotten up again. just a low sort of day. i was sitting in class today(international studies for latin america) and i realized i was smiling which made me exceedingly happy because even i have missed my smile this last month or so. had a dream last night that i went back to new orleans and i was walking around campus and everything was clean and looked even better than it did before katrina. wishful thinking i suppose. hopefully this hurricane rita won't spell anymore trouble for n.o. although our temporary tulane offices in houston were evacuated today and moved to dallas.
