Graphics Journal Now Public.
All right guys. I've decided to make this journal public because I thought that, by making it friends-only, I was somewhat defeating the purpose of having one of these -- namely, getting my name out into the eljay-community, eventually garnering fame akin to that of cdg or teh_indy (hahaha, yeah right). Anyway, it's now public -- however, let's just use this opportunity to go over some basic rules, eh?
CREDITING
First and foremost, I work hard on my graphics. Sure, sometimes it doesn't look like I've changed things much, but when you see the finished results as compared to the image I started out with, you suddenly see how much effort and time it does actually take.

And that isn't even a particularly difficult or tedious effect. I could really get technical here, but I'm going to assume that you all get the gist, okay?
Anyway, what I guess I'm trying to say is, please credit me somehow. If it's here on eljay and I make you an icon, it's not hard to put "made by _pixeldust in the comments box when you upload the picture to your site. If I make you a layout wherever it may be, just put something in your userinfo. It doesn't have to be huge, you can even do it in size 1 font if you like: "Layout by _pixeldust."
Credit also encourages and inspires me to make more stuff. If I know that people like and are using my graphics, I'll make more for you people to use. It also gives me feedback and what sort of styles people like and what styles they don't.
If you take any of my icons from this site, you must leave a comment to tell me which one(s) you are taking and like I previously stated, you must credit me.
REQUESTS
As of right now, I am open for requests. Want to request something? Here's what you do.
1. Tell me what you want. Be specific! You cannot give me too much detail.
2. It's reccomended that you give me an image to work with. I'd be more likey to accept your request then.
3. Email your request and picture to radio.flower (at) gmail dot com. I will reply to you within a few days of getting your email telling you that I have either accepted your request or denied it.
If I deny it, I will tell you why. If you bitch at me about how I didn't accept your request, I will blacklist you, period. I have my own life to handle, I am doing this as a courtesy. I'm a junior in high school, folks -- I have homework piled up to my eyebrows. I reserve the right to deny a request at any time. If I have accepted your request, I should have it done in a week tops; if it takes longer than that I will email you and tell you why I haven't finished yet and I will give you an estimated date of completion.
You may put in a maximum of two requests at a time. I may deny one and accept another, I may accept them both, I may deny them both, but no more than two.
If I do a request for you and you aren't happy with the result, that is not my problem. I follow your instructions as best as I can. You don't like it? Sorry. You cannot complain to me about how it turned out as I am only following your instructions. Any violation of this will result in you being blacklisted.
If you use the requested graphic that I made, you must credit me as previously stated.
HOT-LINKING
Hot-linking = BAD. Uploading to your own server = GOOD. Basically, don't hot-link, kids. It makes Hulk SMASH.
AFFILIATION
I'm always looking for affiliates! I'd love you have you. Just drop me a comment, okay? :)

Anyway, that's all I have for now. I don't think these rules are too difficult to follow, nor are they extreme. Will I kill you if I find you not crediting my icons? I may be a little more exasperated if I catch you using a layout I made without crediting me, but I'm still not going to murder you or anything.
