Used your tutorial twice so far. Just a question.. when I saturate the texture, it keeps the whole icon at black and white, and I don't get what you get at the end. Are you sure you keep it at 100?

Are you using the Saturation filter, or are you going to IMAGE>>ADJUSTMENTS>>DESATURATE?

Take a look here, this should help you.

I did what you did, and used Saturation filter.. and it still makes the entire icon black and white.

Hmmmm. I'm not really sure what that problem could be. I'm having some computer difficulties and can't get into PhotoShop to tinker with it, [I'm currently at school] but I'll definitely get back to you ASAP. By any chance, could you send me your base image?

I attempted it with a few alterations (because I'm using a different program, and some just because ^^;) and ended up with:

It's a hex code -- What program are you using? If you're using PhotoShop 7.0, use something like the color-selector tool and enter it in the box in the bottom right corner. If that doesn't help, it's just a dark flesh-tone sort of color. :]
