Fukuyo was happy to start this day off away from the slums. Koimitsu lived in a community she could relate too. The in between vibe from rich to poor made it comfortable for those middle class families. She was curious about this boy, he was awfully cute and if she was just a few years younger, quickly shaking her thoughts away Fukuyo knocked on the door.

Aishida's mother opened the door, the rather large woman dominating the space. Aishida looked nothing like his intimidating mother. The woman smiled at them in greeting, being the gentle souled type that was nicer than her appearance led people to believe.

"Hello! Come in, come in! Have you had breakfast yet? I've just put out some miso soup for the kids..." she said, her voice a soft and breathy alto that was oddly soothing to hear. She was not a pretty woman, but she was obviously a kind woman.

"Thank you but we ate before we started." Fukuyo gave a wave of the hand as she stepped in. "I hope we are not bothering you during your breakfast."

"No no, just the children. They think that a break from school means lazing about all day!" Aishida's mother said cheerfully. "Can I offer you a drink? Tea? Coffee?"

"Ohaiyou...." Aishida said sleepily as he walked downstairs, hair a mess and in his PJs, which was simply a pair of pajama pants. He blinked at the two teachers and then turned bright red for being caught unaware. "Mom!! Why didn't you say we had guests?!" He said as he scrambled back up the stairs.

His mother simply chuckled. "Silly boy was out for some model thing late last night...he got home very late."

((OOC - Character neighborhood is missing from her profile page so I can’t describe Yukimura’s home. I will leave a short comment and you can feel in the details.))

Fukuyo knew very little about Kusangi Yukimura, it took a while to remember who the girl was. She saw little of the dark girl and only knew that many felt she was creepy. This thought made her nervous at what she would find in Yukimura’s home.

The Kusangi's lived in a normal housing district in Tokyo. Their house was small but seemed warm and inviting. It even had a few Christmas and new years decorations up in the small yard. When Fukuyo answered the door a small but pleasant Japanese woman in early 30s answered the door.

"oh good morning, are you Mura-chan's teacher?" She asked with a gentle smile on her face. Taki wore a brightly color house apron and in her hand was a small duster.

"Why yes I am. I am Shinoda Fukuyo and this is my partner Shindo Gendo. Are you Kusangi Yukimura's mother?" Fukuyo asked with a smile.

Taki smiled holding her face with her right hand, " oh it is a pleasure to meet you! Yes I am, please come in." The wife of the house bowed a moment moving aside to let the two teachers in.

Mura in the family room paused for a moment, her amber eyes narrowed, as she moved to peek down the hallway.

Fukuyo stopped and stared at the building in front of her before glancing back at Gendo. Had he got the directions wrong because they were standing directly in front of a pub. Gendo assured her it was correct and Mimura Jiro and his cousin Ax both lived above the pub. Fukuyo immediately worried about her student’s safety as she entered the building.

The pub was small and narrow, but it ran deep in length. The entrance opened up to one of the small ends. The wall opposite the entrance had enormous windows that let in enough sunlight to light the room. On the right side of the room was a two toned wall (beige on top, and a dark brown on bottom) with a few paintings hanging and a door hiding a staircase near the window in the back. On the left of the room was a large rectangular bar that took up a majority of the space. The bar top was dark in color and polished. The sides of the bar were screens that were pale yellow in color with artistic textured patterns running along it. There was a light behind the screens, causing the bar to be illuminated which acted as the main light after the sun went down. There were a few lights hanging from the ceiling, but they gave off little light. Dark, armless bar stools lined the bar, and they were all empty except for one, which held an elderly man who was seated before a plate of yakitori. The wall behind the bar was half mirror and half covered ( ... )

Fukuyo blushed at the idea of her and Gendo being mistook as a couple. With a slight cough and shake of the head Fukuyo got her thoughts recollected. "Hello we are here to talk to Ami and Jiro's parents we are teacher from the school, well he is. I am the nurse. OH! It isn't anything serious just a conference." Fukuyo added.

"She is a teacher too, actually. She teaches the finest homeroom at Gakuin High," Gendo added as his eyes searched the pub. To grow up in a place like this, an ultimate bachelors pad, the effects it could have on young boys! He would have to keep a closer eye on the Mimura cousins to see if the effects were already showing. He imagined that the effects would be more damaging than beneficial. "Do you serve foreign liquors here, out of curiousity?" He added, irrelevantly.

Arriving at the tiny boxcar shaped houses she looked for the one belonging to student Miyadai Yosuke. It was easy enough but Fukuyo clutched her bag close to her in fear of it being taken. Finding it she watched for Gendo to knock not trusting to touch the door with her own bare hand.

Yosuke was angry as the neighbors dog started barking like crazy. It was bothering the cat and that demon of a thing didn't need anymore aggravation. He raised his head and looked right at Yosuke and an warning growl leaving its lips, Yosuke shuddered. He tried to accept the cat the replaced his cupcake but it was like walking on eggshells.

"Okay Kuma I will go make it shut up." Yosuke got up and went to the front door. He slammed the thing to the side and yelled. "QUIT YAPPING YOU MUTT!" His face turned red when he realized he was face to face with his teachers. Speechless about what he had just done he could only stare with his mouth opened in a gap.

Fukuyo turned red in embarrassment. "I am sorry Miyadi-kun I thought you were aware of us coming today for a conference with your parents." Fukuyo shifted not really realizing the comment was made for the dog barking in the background not her herself.

Already alert from the caffeine in his system, the door slamming open didn't seem to bother him. He glanced back towards the neighbors house, assuming that Yosuke was talking to the dog. He sure hoped that that wasn't how the boy greeted guests. But then again, judging by the looks of this place, people at appeared at his doorstep probably were quite similar to mutts. "Where is your guardian?" He chose the word carefully, not wanting to offend regardless the situation.

Walking into the Saito Yumi’s district was a bigger relief then what she saw at the last student visit. Still in a poor neighborhood the people seemed safer and things a lot less dangerous. She walked the complex stairs reaching the landing Yumi lived on and quickly found the door, giving a gentle knock.

Yumi sprawled out on bed before she heard obnoxious rapping at the door, yet she tried to drown out the noise with a pillow encircled around her ears. Fading back into sleep she unconsciously heard the door open and someone mumble something towards her, yet she didn’t stir until she felt a sharp throb in her right thigh. Ajarged by the pain she jumped up turning quickly towards the source ( ... )

"Hello," Fukuyo gave a bow. "I am Shinoda Fukuyo the school nurse and this is Shindo Gendo a fellow teacher. Are just here to do a check up on how our student is doing at home and what not. Yumi is a fairly good student but seems to be tired a lot in her classes. Is she getting a sufficient amount of sleep?" Fukuyo started.
