I don't know if I'm doing the right thing, because of how some things are. I've been trying to distance myself from jen, my ex. But she calls and of course I answer and end up agreeing to meet her for coffee later on today. I know I should stay away till I'm ok since she's apparently ok with things and going after others and apparently doesn't mind

You could always stagger the meetings, cause then you get your space to move on, and it may not be the best thing to always 'be there' when she calls to go for coffee etc... This would give me the impression that you were still available if ever you were needed for another relationship with this girl. So every other time she calls, acknowledge her and do something. And those times inbetween, Find something else to do...
but that's just how I would suggest handling it. Good luck!!

well she ended up "having alot to do today" and we didn't go then she called a few hours later all "i'm sorry i had too many things to do, i know you're mad or dissapointed. how bout we plan on going tomorrow night?"
I think i'm gonna oops get busy and forget to met her like she did to me

yea if you can find something else to do, it might let her know that you're not waiting around for her. *just don't do it out of spite though* That will just create (more) bad tension between you two.

I guess i'm the kind of person that does to you what you do to me, so you can feel what you're doing to me. But I know what you mean about not doing it out of spite. It would be so she'd know what she does
the hard part is i do still love her and would love to be with her still, but it's not up to me
