Why do academics make economics... of all things... so dull? My econ teachers were, for the most part, just dreadful. Then I got one who was actually engaged with students. He managed to make it interesting.

Bad teachers are... well... bad. Hang in there.

Yeah, I think I could be interested with the right professor.. I am almost on the verge of caring but every time I go to class, she just bores me into listening to my ipod.

The guy I had who made it interesting really emphasized that we're living economics everyday. Not dry tables and graphs. The idea that we actually know a lot about economics from our experiences.
