I love this! You have such a wonderful knack for finding the deeper layers in the story, bringing out aspects people haven't thought about. Everyone sees the singing, dancing objects - people rarely give a thought to the fact that these are people consigned to a living hell that may never end, as far as they know. An excellent drabble.

Because, speaking realistically, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder would happen, and what you've done here is really really great because there's that whole thing because even though Babette knows it's not Cogsworth or any of her friends, it still feels like it was which is JUST. AWESOME.
