That is a good question.

I'm not quite sure why it's my least favorite. I haven't read it since I bought my copy. But, I just remember not being as interested in the plot as I was with the later books. Although, now that I think about it, I'd have to say that the first book is my least favorite.

I don't think it's bad, quite the contrary! It's just that, the third book has the Marauders in it, the fourth one has Voldemort coming back, the fifth one is so sad, and the first one is it's own drummer because it's the starter line. I don't know. I love the Marauders too much, I guess. The end of the second book gives me the chills sometimes. I don't know why it's my least favorite. That's a good question.

Well, OotP is my favorite book and I put CoS down as my least favorite because I think the story goes a little too fast for my liking. I still love it, but the other ones are just so well written. CoS is a great book (am reading it now again) and I love how he fights the baskilisk and everything, but the others have just stolen my heart!

I think the order for me goes

5th
4th
1st
2nd
3rd

Personally, I don't see anything wrong with the second book. I'm re-reading it right now and I still love it. It's the third one I don't like as much, and I don't understand why it's so many people's favorite. I think it's more boring than the other ones.

Then again...I'm wierd...
