Spoiler for the latest Naruto chapter

I stopped reading Naruto, or more correctly manga that is, a long, long, long time ago. However, a friend, apparently remembering that I used to worship Neji, told me to read the latest chapter of Naruto.

Are you serious?! He isn't my favourite, but he's always been a pretty major character, hasn't he? Oh, wow...I'm shocked! I don't keep up with Naruto at all except whenever I hear about certain characters dying. :(

To my best non-opinionated view, he's been stretching the series for too long. I think only loyal fans still read Naruto, and perhaps one thing that drives readers (cue: me) away is when he kills off endearing characters like this.

I agree. One Piece also seems to be getting longer and longer and longer...

Perhaps that's one of the reasons why I gave up on manga. The last manga I read was Tezuka Osamu's Adolf, and it wasn't even recently published. *sigh*
