so i'm moving. not to seattle. not to some far off place that doesn't have fucking sagebrush in the backyard. no, i'm moving about down the road a bit. the good thing.... its a house! no one attached to me on all sides ANYMORE. after a lengthy discussion with aaron, we decided it would be best to stay here for another year. mainly, for family ( Read more... )

So since we just "friended" I can comment and say my fiance and I just rented a house a few months ago (although, not quite the size of your house!) and it is very nice! We, too, want to move somewhere else but for family reasons we're staying put in the overly-priced part of NY where we reside. At least until after we're married. Moving is stressful but lucky you with the new kitchen ;-) Mine isn't so big and the Italian in me is biting her fist over it. G'luck!

How close to new york city are you? Forgive me for my lack of east coast knowledge.. only been over there once.

yeah, moving is up there with a death of a loved one on the "stressful list".... or so they say.

yeah i've realized family is important, especially when you don't have much left.

so what kind of wedding will you have big or small?

I'm about 25 min north of NYC in Westchester County. EXPENSIVE! Ugh I can't wait to move to a simpler life.

We're having a bbq-style outdoor wedding, complete with a psychobilly band (our friends, Sasquatch & the Sickabillys from here on the east coast) and a dj and partying. Guest list is a little too big for my liking (I have an insanely huge Italian family) but I'm looking forward to it. It's going to be really simple and fun...I hope!

the shopping in that city is amazing though! but i would imagine it is outrageous to live on the outskirts!

that sounds like a really fun wedding! i'm sure it'll work out great since it seems cool and casual... its when people get too stuffy and "ohmygosheverythinghastobeperfectandtraditional" when things go wrong.

Yeah, need to meet this guy, especially if he can put up with you for this long, just jokin!!

Im always elling anything and everything. The problem with that photo in particular is I took that over a year ago and Im not sure if I can find the original or not, I've been looking, but not totally sure if I can find it or not.
