Finally came up with a DJ name, if I decide to record techno, my name will be DJ MYTH.
My first album will be called Mythology, which will have tracks all named after mythological gods. Had a dream about it, seemed like a good idea, so I'm going with it.

DJing and recording have alot to do with each other. About 70% of the DJs that spin also can compose their own electronic music. Examples, Moby, Brooklyn Bounce, Dieselboy, AK1200, Timo Maas, DJ Omar Santana, and others.

In order to release a good album, a DJ spends upwards of 300hrs going through songs in the studio and ensuring perfect sync, beat transition and matching, mood transition, and many other factors that are refined from live mixing. All for the perfect party music. It's how they become popular, not from touring different clubs, but releasing their best mixes on albums and distributing them world wide.
