Glad to hear that you're feeling better lately. Your GI Mystery Disease sounds awful. Even if it's just a food allergy/sensitivity, it's still a huge inconvenience, so I really feel for you. I also feel for you having to spend any time at all in an ER, as someone who knows how disgustingly god-awful ERs are.

Anyway, I have a random question for you. Did you end up getting a mac mini? Because now I'm thinking I want one, but I don't know anyone who actually owns one. If you have one, what are you using for your display? And your speakers? What's your overall opinion of how the mini can run OS X?

If you don't have a mini, disregard the entire above paragraph. And either way, I hope you stay feeling better. :)

the mini is awesome. mine is the G4 version. its just a regular G4 in a tiny little box.i have 80G of harddrive space. i dont remember my processor speed. but it pretty good. the thing is, now if you get one its the macintel versioin... which is soooo much better. i have the superdrive which can burn CDs and DVDs... um. for my display, i have a Starlogic (generic) 17" flatscreen (not flat panel, i want one though) CRT. and for my speakers, i have some generic two speaker one subwoofer thing that plugs into the headphone out that sounds really good. there is no mic line in. there are two USB ports
