_PUCHULA_ WHO?
BASIC INFO
Name: Paula
Age: 23
Gender: Female
Nationality: Argentinian
What I do: Working student. Once renegade International Relations student, now trying to revive the old spark. Recently appointed assistant to the IR coordinator at an NGO.
Location: Buenos Aires, capital city of Argentina. No, it's not in Brazil, it's not in Europe either and even less so in the United States. And yes I have been actually asked all those things.
Politics: Left enough to support a revolution, center enough not to get violent about it. Clearly I never have a candidate to vote when elections come.
Religion: Agnostic. Was raised a practising catholic with what you could call interesting left tendencies. Not particularly troubled about the ways of my soul right now but I still like the "love your brother" bit.
ONIONS HAVE LAYERS
IN DETAIL
I am: Cranky. Creative. Cynical. Easily amused. Easily distracted. Fluffy underneath. Friendly. Geeky. Impatient. Klutzy. Made of awesome. Messy. Moody. Outspoken. Pragmatic. Proactive. Proud. Ridiculous. Sarcastic. Silly. Slightly OCD. Snarky. Stubborn. Talkative.
I like: Music, converse, history, laughter, flip flops, orange, fire, green, jokes, movies, rubik cubes, rain, stripes, pictures, yawns, traveling, differences, mosh pits, sun rays, art, birds singing.
I dislike: Pink, soup, high temperatures, headaches, high heels, cockroaches, asthma, Barbie dolls, make up, math, mobs, helplessness, sneezes, high pitched voices.
I eat: The italian blood in me carves pasta, pizzas and ice creams. Anything with chocolate will also do, but appart from that I'm mostly on the salty side. Asado, empanadas and the awesome that is Argentine cuisine ranks high above most. Chinese is also a favourite. Fruits are always welcomed and vegetables (when cooked right) can come in as well. Not a candy fan (I know, the shock!)
I drink: Mostly water and coke for special ocations, but won't turn down orange juice. A basic beer girl, but I enjoy liquors and fruitsy drinks enough (especially if I'm not the one paying for them).
CURIOSITY KILLED THE CAT
DAY BY DAY
A Week in the Life: You can count on work during the mornings, as well as university four nights a week. A respectable ammount of reading should be done in between and on top of multiple public transports to keep up with the appearances of studying. Weekends are devoted to friends, family and the boyfriend. I might make a quick visit to the gym once or twice a week as well.
MEET THE CAST & CREW
PEOPLE
Family: Mother (councelor and original source for most of my excentricities), Father (root of many headaches but lovable still), Little Brother (source of zen and as huggable as your favourite teddy bear). Big-Fat-Spanish-Wedding family on mother's side (includes Grandma, Grandpa, 12 aunts & uncles and 19 cousins) worthy of many Fran Fine-like anecdotes. Practically non-existant family on single-child-orphan father side (includes an old aunt and some very distant relatives) only to be met on highly exceptional celebrations.
Friends: A Best-Friend and better other half, who will hopefully be my roommate soon. A group from High School, another from University, one from English Institute, a bunch of ex-roommates and quite a few "friends of a friend" among others. No worries, I rarely mention names to spare you the trouble of memorizing them.
The lucky bastard: Has finally decided to make an entrance. From odd acquaintance, to friend, to holiday companion, to something more. I have remained true to my tendency for falling for my uninterested close(ish) male friends.

LIVEJOURNAL
Posting: Happens often enough to keep appearances of this being an active journal, but depends mostly on the season. Almost weekly during summer and winter break, dropping to bi-weekly/monthly during "high season" (aka. finals). They are of a varied nature, usually containing tidbits of my life along with random factoids (be it from fandoms or other entretainments) I might have found along the way. You will also bump into the ocational post of political nature.
Commenting: Not too good, runs on seasons much like anything else on my journal. I try to at least skip read most entries most of the time, but I can't promise to be fully regular (I'm easily distracted, remember?)
Defriending Drama: Kills my soul. Friend, defriend, cut your nails, grow a beard, I don't care.
