First, in the sense of games (Monopoly, Skip Bo, Scrabble, etc) and life and taking shortcuts.

Short post here, but I just found you on a random search of LJ and thought I'd use this to get your attention and maybe have you friend me back.

I think cheating at games is a symptom of having to have one's own way. Therefore, if the deeper problem of needing instant gratification isn't addressed, then yes, the person will always cheat.

Cheating on another person to me seems to be a totally different problem, though I don't know what it is for sure. My guess is that it has to do with being greedy and self-centered and undisciplined. And I'd say yes, once a cheater always a cheater in that respect. I'm not a great believer in such changes. I suppose I'm not very forgiving.

ha ha, it looks like EVERYONE around here random searches so now i don't feel so freaky. I cheat at card games, i cant help it so i guess i am a cheater.
