i think i might try and get an internship on a farm this spring/summer. i've been looking on this site that talks about all these different organic farms and there are a bunch in maine there is one up past bar harbor i think that might be the best place i've seen so far. but that doesn't really tell me much since i cant physically see the place and

$100 a week is pretty scarce Josh, let alone a month.

Think long and hard before you commit to something that might be difficult and miserable.

well when you live there its like living week by week. you can stay as long or as short as you want. so that part isn't anything really big.
