Finished the Kipling Baby Sweater a few hours ago. It took me awhile to post about it, because I've been running all over town looking for lost packages *fist of rage*
Found one, one still AWOL.

Yarn: Lionbrand Cottonease in Licorice and Cherry?
Needles: Cir. US 6
Pattern:
Kipling Baby Sweater Mods: I converted the pullover into a cardigan but just knitting half the front at a time. I then just picked up stitches on either side and knit an eight row seed stitch button band. I didn't even subtract any stitches from the fronts, just because a little more ease never hurt anyone.
Also, I left out the hems on the bottom. The cotton-ease doesn't curl to much, and I was afraid they'd be too bulky on the bottom of what turned out to be quite a heavy sweater.
Close up the buttons, got at joann's for four bucks. (wasn't just these, was in a mixed pack with butterflies and dragonflies and stuff)
Overall, a cute knit. But now that I've gotten it out of my system, I don't think I'll knit this one again.
