ホテルに法外なお金をいっぱい支払うことを考えると、
Lanikuhonuaでゴージャスなdecorationにする
のも悪くないのかもしれない。。。。

Google Translate gives this as:

"Given the exorbitant pay at the hotel full of money,
You Lanikuhonua gorgeous decoration
Perhaps worse than. . . ."

Which I assume is a reference to the 90s / 21st Century housing bubble? Agreed that was a disaster, but the early 80s parties can't really be blamed for it. Thatcher believed in small borrowing and sound money, not the "spend like there's no tomorrow" that came later.

My dad was a sales rep in the 80s and thus had a succession of British company cars, from the Morris Marina, the Austin Maxi, Austin Allegro, Austin Princess and Morris Ital.
They were all rubbish (and in the Princess's case handled like a supertanker).
