Hey, I'll search this...I like this topic a lot. Do you have a facebook? I run these huge community messages that turn into mini-forums. They're pretty exciting. From the beginning I have wanted it to be more diverse, but up until this point it has all been music related (which, reminds me of when a band makes an album but they're really going for something else and eventually you hear what their intent is)

I will say off the cuff that over the summer I read Atlas Shrugged and Ayn Rand is a huge champion of capitalism and one of her big jabs is how America (and possibly the rest of the world?) has become so attached to the paper money notion- when fibers don't possess the value that people put on them. Real financial worth is gold (or other precious God-made materials) and we need to get back to that mindset- it is a purist state of mind I believe so far as a money seeking individual goes (that is to say, capitalistic vs. say, socialist).

I like that idea, but there is a problem with using gold that I haven't thought of before now- when the value is in gold it encourages more mining for said metals(which harms mother nature), it would be hard- but if inflation stopped (i.e. the value of money stayed the same, less new money was made) money could be used to represent hours of work or investment, this would encourage productivity and maybe make it easier for the kinds of people that actually work for their money- but this isn't a perfect world so people need to do more research and discussion on the most important aspect of economy- what will money represent?

I do have a facebook and I'll log on now and look for you.
