for those of you who know i make chainmail armor. and a few years ago i made a shirt out of 16 gauge wire and 1/4 inch rings. but now i have made another shirt. it is long sleved goes down to my knees, and weighs about 40 pounds. i used a half mile of galvinised 14 gauge wire rolled in to 3/8 inch rings and has about 20,000 rings in it.
