It's 79 more days until Bama football. I can't believe the university didn't catch the textbook scandal until Nick Saban showed up. Then again, since he meticulously controls every football program he's ever coached down to every last detail, it probably took a coach like him uncover this. Also, it looks like Alabama still has the SEC record for most wins even after the 21 vacated wins. They have Tennessee by 2 correct?

Hehe. All time records are always disputed. Some people don't count bama's stats until they became a major football program in 1902, instead of going back to 1892. But if you count every year, Bama still leads by two 778 to 776. Volunteer fans are getting waaay too excited that the gap has been closed up. I guess it'll take another streak of losses to shut them up.

Haha, I guess that's true. It's a hard line to walk with very strange record keeping and changing rules and shared titles and schools being a "major" football program.

It's all pretty silly to me, but I guess that's what comes with crazy fandom.
