I think that it comes off as a bit too pretentious and perhaps overdone. Your skill is obviously immense, but I feel that this story doenst reveal your full potential. You need a different approach.

I liked that, at times it confused me, I thought you went out of topic with the looking at shoes thing because that was kind of boring, but I thought it was put together well. But I agree with __srilanka even though I don't know your writing style, from this it seems that you know what you're doing.
