I didn't know Of Mice and Men was banned O_O

I had to read The Handmaid's Tale for AP English, but me being the slacker I never read it, haha, I guess I should <3

Doesnt that suck though? & some of the books are amazing, and the catcher in the rye was my absolute favorite ever (along with harry potter haha) but i mean wtf npeople are so dumb. guhhh >:I

Also I really love the scary story books by alvin schwarts lol I read them when i was little all the time. they were the only actually scary storys for kids ive ever read o_o but I loved it haha.

The Witches by Roald Dahl

and I haven;t read "Heather Has Two Mommies" but I'm pretty sure I know the reason why peoplewanted it banned haha ^^;

Only some school ban the books, and thats usually only after parents complain and complain until they get their way.

But alot of schools, like mine, are supporting the reading of banned books, and thats where I found out about "Banned Books Week" in the first place.

Oh you should read I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings by Maya Angelou. It's a true story about what happened to her. It's really sad though.
