it's truly ridiculous. i was put on cipro to avoid further infection. apparently this is not good for a person with a compromised immune system. YAY!

this is so true. i hate the what's wrong with me game.

my gi wanted to send me for another ct scan (i have had 2 in past year & 1/2) and i told him i wanted to wait for all my tests to come back first. why extra radiation if it's not needed? he was perturbed and told me he was sure i would come back negative for food born illness, etc. he didn't even call me to tell me my results, his secretary did :P this is the final straw and i will be turning to umass for a new gi/crohn's specialist!

Well, for him to tell you would mean admitting he was wrong :P

I see that attitude all the freaking time and it's never once been beneficial to a patient! Time to move on :)
