The group are speculating someone at the record's manufacturing plant had hoped to earn easy money from the piracy. Bassist Pete Wentz says, "Our job is to put out records and tour and make music. What are we gonna do? Sit at the plant and watch everybody? "Some guy working minimum wage, why would he care how it affects us?"
He adds the theft could have a devastating effect, not only on his band, but the entire record industry.
The group has no plans to bring the official album release date forward as a result of the leak.

Fall Out Boy's new cd, Infinity On High, will not be carried at any Hot Topic locations and the "listening party" the company had scheduled for Feb. 3rd has been canceled. FOB`s response is as follows: In regards to the situation with Hot Topic, there was an issue with them and our record distributor. HT unfortunately will not be carrying our record on release day. We are very upset about this. Hot Topic has been our partner since "Take This to Your Grave".

We support our friends at HT and their decision to not stock the record for the time being even though this is a very disappointing situation for us and our fans who shop at Hot Topic. However, they will still be the exclusive carrier for a whole new line of approved Fall Out Boy t-shirts and merchandise. In the mean time we hope the situation between HT and our record distributor gets resolved soon. It is out of our hands but we are doing everything in our power to rectify the situation. - Pete

''I'm excited at the possibilities of a small theater tour with such a big band.''

THE KILLERS frontman BRANDON FLOWERS felt compelled to try marijuana because he was a huge BOB MARLEY fan during his teenage years. The MR BRIGHTSIDE rocker has long since turned his back on cannabis because of its negative effects - but is glad he is not ignorant of mind-altering substances. He says, "You're 14 years old, you start listening to Bob Marley, you've got to try marijuana. "Now I know it makes me lazy and I don't like that."
