im in rome and its super here. there is so much culture it kills you. i walked more than i did in any city today. i dont have much time... unfortunantly i was stressed out because They canceled my card again due to the flights that i registered last night, so i dont have money for dinner

I am posting this comment so that no one worries about Kelly having money for dinner. She has been surprised at the cost of things being higher because of the exchange rates. I told her today that I went to the bank and put money into her account...so eat up my child!!! Love you Mom

Dear Kelly,
After reading your journal about Italy, I realize just how resourceful you are. If I were standing on a street corner in Rome not knowing where to go, I would've hopped a cab to the airport and gone home. Anyway this is a good lesson..you are truly a world traveler. I can't wait until you return and show us all your pictures and tell us all your stories that you couldn't put in your journal. Love Jimbo

Whew....I'm glad you got some more money. You've done a good job so far of conserving and budgeting. I'm so proud of you for all you've done on this trip. I always read your journals twice because it is so interesting to hear about. I'm glad you got to Rome....I've never been there but can only imagine. Enjoy each day and I'm looking forward to hearing about everything in person and seeing the pictures.
We'll have to have a party..... We'll be leaving for Reno on Sat. for a week. Not sure if I'll have access to a computer but if so I'll check your journal. Then you'll be home. Have fun.....

Rome is super. all of italy is super super. i cant say enough good things. just make sure you bring uncle phil or the italian men will be all over you.

i didnt worry about you... but i hoped you had a better story than your mom putting money into your account... i would have bet that youd meet some famous person and theyd invite you to dine with them on their yaht in .... what river or ocean is near rome? the mediterranian sea or something?

whatever. i cant wait to see rome... once again, im way jealous.

sorry. i did meet john baldessari though. and i went to that tori concert for free. i couldnt gotten a free place to stay, these italian men are crazy... but im not willing to pay the price.
you need to make it to italy some day. youd really love geneva too... its very beachy. just not my thing, you know?

I just got your e-mail and Steve told me that u called. SOunds like you are having a blast, just be careful. Go visit Prauge people tell me its an experience. Please tell Samora Hi and we miss Him Tell him to get a hold of us, please? I m so happy to hear that everything is going great. Sounds like u have been doing a great job with the navigating see women are better than men in navigation. I hope u get this message and nuy the boots for your self u deserve it after that flight to london. Pick up some prada for u u while u r in italy its cheaper (no shipping charges). And yes u can bring chocolate back over to the states my mom did and she brought alot of it from denmark. Their chocolate is the best.

sorry, i wont be going to prague this time. ill tell you about it when i come back. i need to get a little choclate from switzerland for you guys... i hope it all doesnt melt.
i do deserve the boots, but i didnt deserve the trouble of lugging them from amsterdam to scotland to italy to switzerland to paris to barcelona to london, so i didnt get them. oh well.
prada is cheeper, but not by enough. it really isnt! maybe in milan, but i didnt go there. gucci and stuff. its stil wayyyyy expensive.
