The eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month. I had my moment of silence here. I am reminded of stories that my Great aunt Florence would tell me of her and her family during that war. They were from Belgium ( ... )

I did my moment of silence in my room and made sure to wake up in time.

When I was younger, my dad got my brother and I to memorize the Flanders Fields poem to see who would memorize it the fastest. I won, but it wasn't really the point - I'm glad I can still remember it today.
