It's been one nearly one year since I've been to a convention, and while last year's Otakon had highs (I had so much fun cosplaying with Rosa, gossiping with Lionel and meeting new people) it also had lows (my huge engineered boobs created the mythical "boob sweat" that I had, until then, only heard of), and, in true Otakon fashion, abyssal pits of

I wish I were going, but alas and alack, the fates have not been kind to me. But I am going to make Katsucon happen, just you wait ;)

And yes, that was a bit nightmarish when you were about to lose consciousness and wilt from the heat and everyone kept taking photos regardless. I still appreciate being able to do that cosplay with you though (I was honored to be your Katan ;) By the way, did you ever get any of those photos back from our shoot???

Man I wish I had seen your Escaflowne stuff last year. I can't afford this year because my new job started too late and Julie is still unemployed. :( I hope you have fun though. In 2012 I plan to cosplay a balding old man who throws glowing acupuncture needles. XD

While not this year, if next you thought about going...maybe I could take a little visit and help keep you alive (be a Floridian, I have mastered the art of cosplay in a sauna).

Ooh then I need to try and find you to say hello I haven't seen you in EONS! Actually probably MORE than just in eons!

At the moment it's so hot in DC I think I'll go as myself to hang out. I'm afraid of stepping foot outside in shorts, nevermind in costume. :P

Sadly, I don't think Ota's in the cards for me this time. Haven't gotten a travel/crash plan together, and maybe it's better staying at home for a break from it.

It's starting to look iffy on my end as well... I think I might just pop in to see friends and plan in advance for another con. All this last minute thing is stressful! :P

Taking a break is always good, then you appreciate it more the other time around!
