After having spent thousands of hours in any fandom, one tends to settle into a comfort zone and stop caring about what's going on with the rest of the fandom... I'm suddenly curious, what does the daily snitch crowd in general think of these main kid characters?

Harry Potter
43.3% of voters love him,
34.8% of voters like him,
14.0% of voters are indifferent about him,
5.6% of voters dislike him,
2.2% of voters hate him.
Ron Weasley
42.1% of voters love him,
29.2% of voters like him,
18.5% of voters are indifferent about him,
6.2% of voters dislike him,
3.9% of voters hate him.
Hermione Granger
32.6% of voters love her,
36.5% of voters like her,
18.5% of voters are indifferent about her,
11.2% of voters dislike her,
1.1% of voters hate her.
Draco Malfoy
24.9% of voters love him,
15.8% of voters like him,

Neville Longbottom

The 'pattern' of votes on Harry are basically identical to that of votes on Ron. They got the most votes in the 'love' category, with the number of votes declining gradually (a visible drop from the 'like' category to the 'indifferent' category) from there on.
The pattern of votes on Hermione are more similar to that of votes on Neville. Well over 60% of voters think favorably of them, but hesitate to say they *love* them.
Draco Malfoy got the most votes in the 'indifferent' category, which is interesting (I'd thought the results would be more polarized, with people either love him or hate him). And judging from the comments he got, I think such result was partially due to the fact I didn't put a 'love/hate' category there, though some voters truly simply do not give a damn about this character.
As for reasons people have listed for liking or disliking these characters, being able to identify with a character seems to be the most popular factor. At least that seems to be the case with the trio fans. Not a lot of people like Draco because they see themselves in him, and it doesn't seem that he would be a popular lad in real life. People who like Draco mostly simply find him interesting to read about.
Not a lot of people see themselves in Neville either, but they do consider him a 'nice kid' and would probably befriend a RL Neville.
Okay, I've got a rough idea about general opinions on these five kids now :)
