5. I make up impromptu 'rules' or 'predictions' that are rather pointless
I do that too! My biggest thing was, if I hung up a towel on a rack, and the tag was facing the outside, my ex and I would have a good day. So if I didn't see it, it would be a bad day. That was a whole lot of poop, but eh. Kept things entertaing for a while.
Haha yay~~~!!! Fellow strange-impromptu-rule-setter X-D!!! I am not entirely sure why I do that, maybe it's a way to subconsciously encourage/discourage myself to do something?
Yeah! It's good to know that we're not alone in our oddities :D
I always figured it to be my superstitious ways to break their bought of boredom. But I can see where the subconscious can come into play there. Maybe it's a bit of both?
2. I love walking in the rain. Sometimes even with an unopened umbrella in my hand.
You should move to Borås. Seriously. Rain or otherwise crappy weather about 95% of the year. ;-)
3. What got me into slash was Interview with the Vampire, movie version. I went to see it three times in the theater, and could not understand why I liked the scene where Tom Cruise as Lestat pounced on Brat Pitt as Louis so very much.
Hehehe!
About 5 and 7, are you a little supersticious? Or do you just follow "your own" supersticions? ;-) Personally, while I'm normally not superstcious, I have to admit, if someone says something like "if you don't do this, it will bring you bad luck!!!1", I will do it, rolling eyes at myself, just because "well, what if they are right?" :D

Haha! Well I already got quite a feel of predictably unpredictable weather in Auckland though! It undergoes several temperature and other climate change on a typical day there, like in the morning you might be sweating like a pig, but in the afternoon it's raining cats and dogs!
Yeah I am *somewhat* superstitious, my attitude towards superstitions is "insurance-like" (similar to yours)- but what if? So although I will not decide things mostly on if it's lucky/bad luck to do so, I avoid doing things the "most unlucky way" :P Oh my impromptu rules are totally self-invented and have no basis what-so-ever, what means good luck today could easily mean doom tomorrow, I don't keep track of my silly "predictions" ^^;;
Oh I used to live in Auckland (and just went back there for a visit). Now I am in Los Angeles, where it has been thundering non-stop since last night and everyone is fearing an earthquake (hun?) or other equally scary catastrophe coming our way... *trembles*
Oh yes! Summer storms are a favorite X-D! I guess the Lestat/Louis thingy had got me started on the "wrong foot", in that I mostly get drawn to unhealthy, disfunctional couples full of self-inflicted angst and drama *g*

3) Had my first slasher epiphany with that film too.
