1) that craigslist thing is AMAZING. That guy handle the situation PERFECTLY.

WEIRD. i love coincidences. i actually googled monsieur casteel and a picture of him and david blum in his play came up, and i was creeped out by how small of a world it is.

p.s. i really like how yours and beej's posts are in a row. i like to imagine all of the peen happily together in the living room doing taffy pulls and drinking cocoa and livejournaling awawawawa.

alissa-- i actually AM going on a road trip this summer-- to THE WEST! it will involve me driving to San Francisco to pick up STennie, who will be living there for hte next two months or so. plenty of stops and sight-seeing will be made on the way out and back.... and I too am looking for travel companions, even if only for part of the trip. especially the part where i go TO san fran.... so let me konw if you're interested!

ooh that sounds extremely fun! is stennie doing something landscape architecture-y there? unfortunately i've restricted myself to no further west than the dakotas boooo, but maybe i'll figure out a way to change this. i will be in ames a couple times, so at any rate we should get together then and hanggg out!

but yeah stennie has a landscape architecture internship and she's going to be living in this really sweet house that her boyfriend found on craigslist. and i decided i'm getting a tattoo when i go to visit her to celebrate 2 years of being freinds. haha.... your travel writing stuff sounds really interesting though! how exciting!
