Salene's Week Skip
[OOC:Just going ahead and posting Salene's Week. If I've forgotten anything or you disagree with anything written, speak now or forever hold your peace!]
Day 10: Salene woke up next to Ryan that morning, which put her in a good mood. She decided to check on her office before breakfast and found the note from Amber, kind of worried about why Luke was there, but knew she'd talk to him eventually. She made her way to breakfast and announced Luke's return, reminding everyone that he was a Mall Rat when he left, and so he shall continue to be. Salene went to move to her room to rest and stopped to chat wtih Moon, talking about how she should stay on, the Mall Rats could really use her help around here right now, in the hospital and with cooking, and offered to help her clean up Pride's room with her, let her redecorate. Once that was decided upon, Salene went to her room and rested until Lunch was ready. Took off soon after with Amber to set up the meeting at the casino for the Tribal Leaders, thanking the bartender for closing up shop for the meeting. After having quite a few heated discussions the group was split and came to an agreement on what should be done. Building up the Militia as well as putting an end to the Color Street Wars was top priority. Once that was settled, the hospital and City Leaders Office needed to be moved, but no one agreed on where just yet. Salene promised to address that issue once more when the Color Wars were over, and everyone needed to figure out what to do to replace the entertainment values of the Street War. When she and Amber had returned, Salene helped in the redecoration of Pride's room with May and Dax and Ryan. She stuck around, helping rip the wood off of the walls, feeling some kind of strange sense of finality wash over her as she did so, but soon felt the exhaustion come back and had to rest. She opted to take a shower first, changing into pajamas, then climbed into bed and rested through dinner, grateful when someone brought her a plate of dinner and stayed and ate with her, taking her dirty plate so she could rest. She slept on and off until Ryan joined her and then she slipped into a peaceful sleep and rested well.
Day 11: Salene woke the next day wrapped around Ryan, a warm and comforting feeling and got up to have breakfast with everyone, slipping a robe on. She stopped to strip the Cloud room bed for laundry, leaving it in one of the hampers, then called Sammy and Mouse to join her in her room. She and Ryan sat down before Ryan left to lead the militia in PT and talked about his kids possibly coming to stay at the Mall. She warned them not to get too excited, they still hadn't heard word from them, but they wanted them to be forewarned about it. When she'd answered all of their questions and they'd run off, she went and laid in bed the rest of the morning. She was starving when the smell of Lunch wafted down to her room and she finally got dressed, fixed her hair and makeup, and headed in to eat. When she was finished, she gathered what she needed to go to Market and left, buying Cabbage, carrots, apples, spinach, and more noodles for the next three meals. While there, she was asked about City issues, and tried to address them as best she could, telling them that without a proper Militia, there wasn't a whole lot that they could do to combat the kids fighting in the Color Wars and if they wanted to save their City, they'd have to fight for it! People dispersed and Salene headed back to the Mall. On the trip back, she remembered that Ryan had seen Macy and that the kids might be coming, and when she got back to the Mall she had a look around and decided that in order to fit the kids in properly, she'd have to rearrange a few people. She discussed this with Jay and Ebony, opting to give them a bigger, couple appropriate room, the Cloud room, and also talked Sammy into moving downstairs into one of the bigger, emptier rooms, explaining to him about Ryan's kids coming and how he'd soon have some kids his own age to play with, along with Mouse. Salene headed back upstairs and helped with the redecoration of Moon's room a bit more before she has to head to her office for a late meeting with a contact. Once they leave, she finishes up her work and changes into her pajamas, resting in bed during dinner again, exhausted. She appreciates it when someone brings her a plate of dinner and stays with her while she eats, taking her dirty dish back so she can sleep. Salene didn't even notice Ryan getting in bed and slept peacefully through the night.
Day 12: Salene woke up next to Ryan again, which put her in a good mood and she joined everyone for breakfast. Before heading back to bed, she and Ryan sat down to chat with Cloe and Patsy about the tentative prospect of Ryan's kids arrival. She warned them it might not happen, but wanted them to be forewarned. She climbed out of bed before lunch and got dressed, fixing her hair and makeup before joining everyone in the Cafe. She rested soon after that, all the way until Lunch time. She ate a quick lunch before helping to put the finishing touches on Moon's room with May, spending time talking about May's reconnaissance into the Color Wars. Once she'd finished up in Moon's room she spent the rest of the afternoon in her office working on City business. She took a break late in the afternoon to cook Broccoli Rice Casserole for dinner for the Tribe, enjoying a peaceful dinner with her family. She helped May move some of her things into the room Dax had claimed in the office complex before Salene headed to bed with Ryan.
Day 13: Salene woke up and headed to breakfast, realizing she felt pretty good the last few days. She helped Ryan announced the pending arrival of his kids, letting everyone know that once they heard word they'd let them all know what was going on. After eating she headed straight to her office to get some work finished instead of resting. She stopped late in the morning to make lunch for the Tribe out of leftovers. She starts thinking about the rooms they'll need to set up for the kids, knowing they could show up any day, she wanted to be ready, and was really hoping they were coming. She starts working with Ryan to set up the bedrooms, finding beds and sheets and things for the rooms in the office complex. She headed back up to eat dinner before working on a few more City things in her office. She took a shower before bed, relaxing in the warm heat of the water, changed into pajamas, and headed to bed with Ryan.
Day 14: Salene woke up early the next morning, changing into clothes and fixing her hair and makeup before making breakfast veggie skillets for the Tribe. She ate quickly and was visited early in the morning by a contact. The news they brought disturbed her and she headed out into the city with Dax and a Militia boy named Alex to talk to the people. Things seemed pretty quiet, but quite a few were disturbed by things they had seen, and they were demanding she address their issues. She headed back to the Mall a little after lunch, warming up leftovers for herself and Dax and Alex before working on the kids rooms some more with Ryan. When dinner rolled around, she ate with her Tribe then headed to her office to do some work before she headed to bed.
Day 15: Salene woke up the next morning, fixing her hair and makeup before eating breakfast. She headed right out into the city with Dax and Alex, meeting up with a group of kids and talking about some of the underground fighting locations, getting word on things around the City before heading back. She ate a quick lunch, finished up the rooms for the kids with Ryan, then went upstairs to visit with Bray. She spent a little time with him, avoiding the subject, just asking how he felt and making sure he was comfortable. Seeing him in his normal state, relaxing and looking so much better put her in a good mood, gave her hope and made her feel a lot better about everything, almost as if she was completely sane again. She spent the rest of the day in a really good mood, eating a light dinner and working in her office for the rest of the evening. She headed upstairs to take a shower before climbing into bed with Ryan and snuggling up for a good nights rest.
