Salene:Getting Dressed/Writing Journal Entry/Checking E-Mail/Reading Book

Jul 14, 2004 13:20

Salene headed to her room from The Cafe, she was tired, she'd washed as many dishes as she felt like she could for now, she'd been working all day, and her small moment of relaxation had left her wanting more, to cut loose and be Salene, Mall Rat, not leader, not boss, just, Sal. She entered her room without being stopped, a good sign, and headed ( Read more... )

Trudy left the office complex and thought she would stop by Sal's room on the way to May's. She wanted to make sure her and Salene were on the same page as far as Amber's kidnapping went.

When Trudy arrived at Salene's room, she didn't hear a lot of noise. "Sal, are you in there?" Trudy didn't want to disturb her if she was in the middle of something. Salene had a lot on her mind as of late and she knew that Sal needed some good time to relax and collect her thoughts.

"I just wanted to make sure all our plans were set for the party tonight".

Salene lowered the book she was reading and closed it, tucking her thumb in her place, "Yes, I'm over here," she called from the sitting area. Sitting up as Trudy walked in, she grabbed her book mark and placed it where her thumb was in the book, putting it on the side counter and standing up, straightening her skirt back out. "Oh sure, I'm so excited!" It was true, the longer she'd sat there on the couch reading, anticipating, the more excited she'd become by the whole thought of cutting loose, and how they were going to get Amber to the party. "So, what're the plans, do you need help setting up? I'm ready to go," she said, her face lighting up animatedly.

Trudy was relieved that she hadn't interrupted Salene. She was also glad to see that Sal was in good spirits before the hen party. "Hey Salene. I'm glad I didn't disturb you. I wanted to go over the plans with you before things started to kick off." "So, I'm wondering if maybe you could be the one in charge of kidnapping Amber. I know that she and Bray are going to be on the rooftop in a little bit, spending some quality time together. Bray knows what's going to happen, so he'll be expecting you." Trudy hoped that Sal would agree, because she really wanted to be back in the office complex making sure everyone was there and things were in place ( ... )

"It all sounds like a good plan to me, and don't worry, I'll get Amber there, but maybe we should wait until all of the girls are back there already, so we can give her a nice big surprise," Salene tapped her finger on the side of her mouth in thought. "You know, that's a good idea to have Dax stand guard, I don't think any of the boys would be interested in a Hen's Night, but just incase anyone got curious," her eyes twinkled with amusement. "Yeah, let's go get the drinks, I'll help you set up until it's time to go get Amber," she agreed, nodding her head.

"That was really nice of May to agree to let you use her alcohol, I know she's very generaous with it usually, for parties and stuff, but sometimes you know," Salene shrugged, "I understand, it's not easy to come by so I'm just really pleased that she's so willing," she added with a shrug. "You look really cute, too, by the way," she motioned at Trudy's outfit, "Did you get Brady to bed?"

Salene walked away from the Office Complex and headed into her room. She couldn't help herself as she took a quick glance around for Ryan, finding him nowhere in her general sight. Where was that boy!? Sighing, Salene shook her head and moved into her room, now was not the time, he knew there was a Hen Party tonight, hopefully he'd remember and assume that's where she was. She also hoped he'd show up soon and send the kids to bed as Salene could still see the bright flash of Flower's red hair in the Cafe with her brother, and it was rather late. Opening the drawer of her dresser Salene removed a length of cloth, folding it and holding it in her right hand, heading for the Car Park exit ( ... )
