Perhaps the message didn't change and, according to you, the artist is actually sexist. Katy Perry chose to substitute in the word "chick" over other choices and over simply "bleeping" out the original word.

Yeah-that's totally possible. Is that how it works? The artist gets to choose how the song is altered? I should have thought about that.

Yeah - Katy Perry sucks. What's even sadder is I was at a club in Palm Springs last night (lol) and the dance floor was probably the fullest when a remix of Hot N Cold came on.
