A semi intelligent post

I've caught myself pondering why we feel the need to conform to a certain way. Why can we not be individualistic? Since I've had the day off I watched a bit of the telly today and I never really thought that America was that hard-pressed to make everyone conform to one way. Because if you are too different from other people, people (like parents & teachers & friends) tell you not to be? That's a good question.

I feel kinda shy here sometimes. I don't go on AIM much coz I don't know what to say! And I like reading people's journals, but I don't comment a lot coz I don't know what to say there either. I'm not used to writing, I've never had any kind of journal before or written letters or anything. Plus some American Idol fans were complaining about my grammar on television, and I didn't even know what I said was wrong! And it seems like everyone here already knows everyone else, and I'm not like a REAL celeb yet. And sometimes I feel nervous around people like you and John Rhys-Davies who are really smart and cultured and all.

But I'll try to comment to you more often :) but then I start running at the mouth and my comments get too long!

What did Fiona think that preen meant? I use the word a lot coz I preen a lot. Maybe it's a Southern gal thang. I never thought about it with birds, but that makes
