Busy busyy weekend

Wow, this weekend really was quite busy o_o

Boring entry coming up, feel free to skip

I don't live close to my campus so my parents bought a place near there and I'm going to rent the place out to a couple friends. The house wasn't ours until the beginning of June, so now that we have the key, the biggest task this weekend was to move furniture from my home to my new place. We've been busy the last few weeks too, scrambling about buying the required furniture for each of the tenants' rooms and moving them to our house and all. So before moving everything into the house we had to give the place a thorough clean-up. Now, it happened to be really hot that day too, and only one room in the house had a fan on the ceiling so ya...it was kinda unbearable D: Some of the furniture were reallyyy heavy too, and I was such a klutz, accidentally getting my heel scraped against a door frame ==; We managed to clean the majority of the house and set up the furniture in a few of the bedrooms but the minivan could only carry so much so we'd have to repeat this process again.

I know it sounds like I'm complaining and all here but I'm actually kinda excited for getting my own place outside home =] It just feels weird..and cool, having a second "home" you know?

Then at night I went for another driving lesson with my instructor. Noo..my driving test is coming up D: But according to my instructor I'm doing well...well I think I still need to practice by myself and hopefully I'll pass. Like I definitely need to work on stuff like back-in/parallel parking and probably even pull-over cause I could never tell how close I am to the curb.

Then on Sunday, I had to wake up at 7:15am for volunteer, oh god I was soo tired. I volunteer at a chinese school and it was the end-of-year school assembly and I could've sworn I was like half-asleep throughout like half of it ==; Well I was supposed to watch the kids and make sure they don't make too much noise but I was so tired that I kinda gave up loll..

then I had work right afterwards. My manager had left for vacation for about a month shortly after she hired me and she just came back this week so I was a bit nervous but work wasn't too bad. Surprisingly business was really good and I managed to sell a lot of shoes and even some shoe care and accessories =D (My best record so far hehe) Oh I just LOVE customers that don't consider too much and say stuff like: "Hm..these ECCO shoes I'm trying on now are just as comfortable as the ones I had before, ok, I'll get this =D" If only every customer was like that...orz Although at the end there was a customer who just wouldn't leave even though we're closing and I didn't go home until 45 min D:

I was soo tired and had a huge headache when I got home. I just ate dinner, watched some tv with my mom (she was watching this korean drama)...then my mom told me I didn't look well but I was like: noo...I haven't had my computer time yet...D: She told me I was such a kid lol, even though I was sick and tired I still wanted to play ==;;  but ya..went to bed early at the end (Omg 10:30 o_o that's really rare...)

I'm also looking for a piano-teaching job near my uni campus for part-time when I go back to school. My friend happened to teach at this piano studio and gave me the contact info for her boss so I've been exchanging e-mails with her boss back and forth. Basically I was asked questions like how many hrs per week I can teach, which locations I prefer, where will I be staying...etc. but now she's sent me the teaching contract and asking me when I'm available for a teacher's training session already. So now I'm confused...is it just me or did she skip the whole interview process in between? o_o;; Uh..I guess I'll see how it goes...
