I'm so so happy right now!! XDD I just passed my road test (in Canada the last level is G), which means I'm a fully licensed driver! >=D And no more road tests!!! Oh man I hate them so much...o_o;;
Actually today my instructor had 3 students who had road tests, cause I booked mine last minute and it was the only time available before I leave for my trip. I was pretty lucky considering that most of the days were fully booked and there's no free slot until the end of August but then a few days opened in July since sometimes they leave a few days open in case of special circumstances in which they have to cancel examinations. I was the last student to take a road test today so after dropping off his other student after they've finished their test, we had to go to the gas station since the car had no more gas (especially when we turned the air con on full blast cause it was so HOT). We were in a hurry since we were running a bit late.
Now here's the thing, when we got to the test centre, someone pointed at our car and apparently, my instructor forgot to close the gas tank of the car. And the lid wasn't screwed on either. We checked the top of the trunk and amazingly enough the lid was still on the trunk. So while I was driving from the gas station to the test centre, the lid managed to stay on the trunk the whole time and didn't fall off o_o My instructor felt really bad that he forgot to close the lid when he was in such a hurry and he told me that if the lid was gone I wouldn't be able to take my test which would suck big time. So thank god~ ><
As I was waiting for the examiner to approach my car I saw the examiner from my last test which I failed and I was so scared I was gonna get her again cause well...she failed me and she was a douche ==; Then she began approaching my car and I was like thinking: oh man, please no D: And then luckily she went to the car beside me instead ><
The examiner I got this time was much nicer, like at the beginning of the test I made this..really stupid mistake. When the traffic light was changing from green to yellow, it felt as if it was at yellow for like a split second only and it was red. o_o And by then I was going at 70km/h and I was almost at the white line where I'm supposed to stop. But I couldn't stop on time, I slammed on the brake and there was this horrible sound as I slid past the white line AND I blocked the pathway for pedestrians D: So by then I was thinking: shit shit shit that was totally a fail wasn't it? it was wasn't it? oh dammit noo I don't wanna fail D: I told the examiner that I was so sorry but that was pretty much useless and the guy just didn't say anything so I kept driving, telling myself to calm down and focus on the rest of the test.
The guy was pretty nice, he even reminds me of a few things lol like when I had to turn right when it was a red light, there was a car beside me blocking my view of the coming cars but he told me I could roll towards the front since he sees there are no pedestrians around. Then at the end of the test my instructor told me that usually if you pass you will be asked to do a back-in parking, but if not you do a head-in. So I was asked to do a head-in and I started thinking: oh god I really did fail D: But after I've parked and turned off the engine, the examiner was like: congratulations, you passed =D And I was pretty confused but apparently while I was too busy thinking about failing while getting ready to park in the parking lot, there was a car following right behind me so when I thought about it there was no way the examiner could ask me to do back-in parking. And as for the huge mistake I made at the beginning, at the end the guy just docked 5 marks and that's it. >< Omg I was so relieved...
I'm really glad I passed since it would be such a hassle to redo the test again in September which is pretty bad considering it would be harder to find time to practice since school would be starting and all...and now I can just go on vacation without any worries or regrets about this =D
Oh, and I checked out a bit of the Hetalia dub yesterday so here are my thoughts on it:
-Uh...I can't understand a thing XD; The audio was REALLY unclear...if only we could find one with a better quality of sound...but anyway the episode sounded VERY chaotic which is pretty much how the world meeting was like in the first episode anyway xP
-Omg surpisingly enough the voices sound PERFECT, like a LOT of the voices fit the characters pretty well! =D Like America (omg he talks soo fast), Germany (yupyup strict and manry >=D), Italy (adorable~<3), Japan...etc. oh and I wasn't able to hear England's british accent that well but I'm sure it's there since they've announced they would do accents and all
-Hopefully we'll be able to hear a better quality version of the episode so I could make a more accurate commentary on this hehe~
