The audience chamber is empty but for a still figure at the top of the stairs. Scorpius watches as the doors slide open, a team of guards entering to spread along the walls. Braca marches in after, his energy signature rough, his face completely impassive.
After him, the former Captain Crais strides in, chin lifted, dark eyes swiftly surveying the room before coming to rest on Scorpius. A woman thrusts Crichton forward beside Crais. The Human still bears signs of injury, which may indicate that he is indeed here against his will.
Both the Sebaceans are wary, standing at slight angles to one another to keep most of the room in eyesight. Their energy signatures are stolid, unwavering, although the woman's flickers now and then.
As alway, Crichton's energy signature flares in irregular bursts, making him almost unreadable, if not for the long intimacy of the past half-cycle.
"Ah," Scorpius says, as the group halts before him. "I see you are once againi in trouble, John."
