Okay, I know that I have had a lot of political rants on here lately, and they are probley annoying the hell out of you. But last night was the State of the Union, and I don't know who heard it, but oh. my. god.
I sersiouly yelled at my radio. And since me and my dad were listening to it we got in a huge bitch fight over it. He's a Bush fan. It ( Read more... )

I believe in God......but I dont think we should just wait for God to solve things for us. God wants us to figure things out, he doesnt just want us to load everything onto him and have him do it for us. We have to work for it too.

I don't either, and I also don't believe that he has purposes for our nation-or any nation at all.

Why are you so against believe in god? Why can't he have his OWN politcal views?

Why can't we just except that SOMETHING had to create this earth, no matter if it was created with a big boom, or what... but someone had to create it. it's just that simple.

so why not believe in a god? or at least be open to that view?

I don't believe in God because I'm a realist. And in reality, I have never seen anything that makes me believe that a God exists. Ever. There are too many conections that I can't make, and I have too many problems with "the Bible." I believe that "God" is a tool used by churches to control people that are afraid to face their own lives and problems.

I do believe that a "big bang" created the universe. It seems a lot more probbible to me then a "God."

BUT if thier is a God-and who knows, thier might be-I just would hope that he has better things to do with him time then meddle in political affairs of nations. I mean, you would think he would have better things to do, right? Like, say, preventing our latest natural disaster? A big hug to God for that one right?

so you say you believe in a big bang? what the hell created the big bang? What the hell created the thing that created the big bang? All i'm saying is that there is a GOD out there... wethere it's the GOD from the bible, or anything... but there has to be one out there. I don't know who created him but I do know that a GOD does exist. and it doesn't bug me at all when people say GOD or BUDDHA or anything... because it's waht they chose to believe and if they DOOOOOOOOOOO believe that it is going to SAVE YOUR LIFE inthe long run... go ahead and tell me. it's the nice thing to do.

the question of what created the big bang and world etc..we actually don't know, so why take a theory completely proof-less and drive a country by it? Especially when the rules of the theory completely discriminate against different forms of humanity etc.
it's lame

As for the Tsunami that killed 150,000 people... A jewish person would believe that God did that because it will "make" the world a better place. It will give people compassion, understanding, and make people nicer. (sorry i'm in world religions and were on Judiasm.)

As for me, I somewhat believe that, but he gives us free will, i believe he created the earth wether it was with Evolution, the big bang, or whatever,... and i do believe he lets it go... it's not about the number killed, it's really not, it's about the after math of it all.

Okay, tell that to the families torn apart by the tragedy. Im sure that it will make them feel alot better to know that it was done so people like you and me could have "compassion" ...thats heartless, and cruel.

how is that heartless and cruel? it's could happen here too. what about the mud slide and you could hear people scream and you didn't know where they were? Or sept. 11th. death happens it's a part of life.

Just because death happens, that doesnt mean that it was MEANT to happen. Just because people die it doesnt mean it was for a good cause. And you go around acting like it okay and you say you "dont mind losing a few people" ...where in the Bible does it say human life doesnt matter? It is heartless and cruel because you dont think about the families that are torn apart. Its real life, not some lesson for Christians in compassion.
