Bittorrent firewall help prz ;x

I need help regarding bittorrent and firewalls. Sometimes (it is doing it now) but not always, my bittorrent will say I am behind a firewall (I'm not sure why it only does it sometimes >.>) and my downloads go from like 150k/b to 25k/b. How do I make it so that I am not stuck behind the firewall? I'm pretty positive it isn't a software firewall so ( Read more... )

Hm I use Azereus and everything just works fine :o I'm assuming you're just using some standard web router using dhcp and stuff?

make sure windows firewall is off ;O

go router config -> check if some ports blocked

I used to block ports to stop other people from hogging bandwidth, that might be why it happens sometimes and not all the time.

Use BitTornado.

If you use window firewall youll have to let certian ports by, if you use a hardware firewall youll have to do the same.

The site has it all documented, its fairly easy, if you need help I can help through AIM or sumin.
