Refresh cycles are very boring, but I guess it's no worse than song cycle on brd.

Each assault has a different objective, some kind of mission. Sometimes it is something like "kill all mobs" but sometimes it gets very indepth and strange as to what you have to do. Often times there is no fighting at all and there are many assaults where you can go with any combination of jobs. Others require a more precise setup to win, it all just depends on the objective.
