i have my doubts about that ^^;;; as far as i know "yaoi" is not a proper japanese word, but an abbreviation of sorts (forgot where it was coming from, though >_<). what we know as "yaoi", the japanese refer to as "boys love".

the t-shirt is still lovely though...but i'd rather not walk the streets of tokyo wearing it, because i don't know what exactly it's saying and how japanese people would understand it ^^

I think "Yaoi" is an abbreviation for some japanese phrase (Someone told me it says: "Stop it, my ass hurts! XD), isn't it?
Anyway.. it is written in Katakana, so I agree that it is not an original japanese word.

Anyway.. I'm proud that I was able to read it :D Japanese lessons are great XD

It is only saying "Watashi wa (I) "heart"(love) Yaoi"
